Indigenous Sleep Research Scholarship

One of the key objectives of the Consortium is to contribute to build capacity and knowledge for Indigenous sleep research. This scholarship valued at $17,500 for a one-year term will provide financial support to Indigenous students pursuing an interest (or studies) in sleep research at a Canadian institution. If you know an Indigenous student who is interested in sleep research but is not yet affiliated with the Consortium, please ask them to contact us at sleepconsortium@uottawa.ca.

Dissemination Awards

The 2023 Consortium Dissemination Awards Program was very competitive! We would like to extend our appreciation to all applicants and to our four reviewers: Andrée-Ann Baril, Matt Orr, Meggan Porteous and Michel Bertrand. The winners were announced at the annual meeting with the certificates presented at the closing ceremony of the Canadian Sleep Society conference on Saturday, April 29th. A $1,500.00 prize was awarded to each research team.
